I always enjoy December period, which is for me a period of reflection and preparation for the new year to come.
This year, the reflection started quite early, on the 15th of December, when I decided to organize a Christmas cocktail for some of my friends.
I couldn’t help myself but ask each of my guests what their biggest achievement of the year 2024 was. One by one, everyone replied.
Then I did the same with my family during the Christmas dinner. And then the same with friends I spent New Year’s Eve with.
To me, everyone must find a thing, little or big, that made them feel good, special, or proud of themselves. A moment when they overcame their fear, developed a skill, or visited a place they wanted to visit for a long time. (Or maybe when they obtained a desired leather piece they have been dreaming of for years.)
And for me, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing people's faces when they find what they achieved and talk about it.
Achieving professional success, having a baby, buying a house, connecting with your kids, or purchasing a leather statement piece—everyone has their own story to learn from.
Are you wondering what was mine?
My main achievement wasn't related to the newly acquired leather statement pieces, but I believe they deserve mention here as I have been dreaming about them for years.
The year 2024 wouldn't surely be the same without
those statement pieces.
I understand, not every year is a good year, but there is something good in every year.
It's crucial to remind ourselves of the positives.
2024 was a challenging year for me. Midway through, I doubted whether I could find any good in it.
However, by the end of December, I began to recognize the positive impact this year had on my life.
Now, I see only the good things and appreciate everything that contributed to my personal and professional growth.
We don’t grow when things are easy. We grow when we face challenges.
Today, I feel like being two meters tall. :D
I'm more fired up than ever, with clear paths ahead to plan and crush my goals.
This confidence comes from my dedication to personal growth. It's because I decided to open up and seek help when I couldn't tackle things alone.
And of course, I highly recommend you do the same.

By coincidence I was successful
