A few months ago, on an ordinary Saturday evening with no plans, I decided to accept an invitation to go to the cinema. The movie I watched told the story of one Polish city during the occupation through the eyes of a woman living there at the time. Although I enjoy such narratives, I found the film to be rather average; nevertheless, I still appreciated the cinema experience. Although the absence of the usual reason for my Cinema visits, my favorite ham and cheese popcorn, exclusive to the Czech Republic, is what I always miss the most.
Subsequently, feeling hungry, I and my companion ventured to a nearby restaurant, a type of establishment I rarely visit, due to a strong focus on meat dishes. Upon arrival, we found a queue of people waiting for a table, among whom I unexpectedly recognized two men I knew, standing just ahead of me. What a pleasant surprise!
We exchanged greetings, and I briefly shared my thoughts on the movie I had just watched. Shortly after, they were seated at their table, and two minutes later, my own table was ready as well.
As a main course, I went for a Caesar salad and graciously offered my chicken to my companion. As we reached dessert, one of the guys I greeted at the entrance approached our table, expressing admiration for my attire and inquiring about its origin. After disclosing the brand, he gave me a compliment for my consistent choice of leather garments and style. He confessed that he was surprised when he saw me head to toe in a leather outfit and boots.
I was just as shocked as he was, feeling his genuine amazement. He mentioned how I could easily dress up just for photos, but that evening, he witnessed my real authentic "life" style.
When he hugged me and said those sweet words, I felt really emotional.
I was so touched by the surprise interaction, and it made me see the important lesson in that spontaneous moment.
Earlier when selecting my attire for a cinema outing, I was quite hesitant.
(Next time you are in the cinema, look around and observe what people wear). You might find out that people rarely "dress to impress" while going to see a movie.
Why? Comfort: Cinemas are often casual environments where people prioritize comfort over formality. Wearing comfortable clothes allows for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Practicality: Movie theaters can be dark and sometimes messy, so dressing up in fancy clothes might not be the most practical choice. It is completely understandable to prioritize comfort, yet one must also consider the importance of their image and the potential impact of their outfit.
Considering the diverse crowd that frequents movie theaters, it is natural to anticipate the various encounters one may come across.

The key to maintaining a glamorous appearance at all times and staying true to your beliefs is to equip yourself exclusively with clothing that corresponds to who you are, and your image. By doing so, you limit your exposure to alternative influences, ensuring that you consistently radiate like a star and uphold your standards.
Upon considering various options, I initially hesitated in making a decision. I leaned towards comfort and envisioned wearing cozy attire such as sweatshirts and casual leather pants.
But then, I decided to go all out with a full leather look: a long-sleeve leather top, leather pants, leather boots, and a leather coat on. How did I go from wanting a sweatshirt to wearing the most daring outfit for a simple movie night?
Simply... I told myself...
To empower others, first I need to empower myself!
With that encounter that night, I promised myself that I'd always listen to the smarter side of my brain, instead of letting the lazy and weak side take over and make me wear an outfit that wouldn't give me pleasure and wouldn't provide me with the energy and power to make the most out of my day.
Jumping straight to last week when I was strolling through my neighborhood and accidentally stumbled upon the very same person as at that restaurant a few months back by accident. He recognized me right away ( I made it easy for him, wearing leather pants and a leather hoodie). One of the first things he said was, "You look amazing."
I replied, "Why are you always so surprised?"
Interesting. One of my ex-girlfriends who like wearing leather clothing, wore because she found it very comfortable and practical (especially cooler weather). She loved the versatility of black leather pants and skirts — she wore them casually and even part of her more dressy/professional attire. It was great to witness how she wore leather for her regular, everyday outfits.
You look great in that full leather outfit. Though I think for you, a full leather outfit might not seem as daring if its known that you are someone has a leather wearing lifestyle. Knowing who you are, such an outfit is more befitting to you.
